The Do4Brain app was created by Brainways, an organization headed by Dr. Yossi Chalamish.
Dr. Chalamish graduated from the Technion School of Medicine, and undertook his post-doctoral research in neuroscience at the Weizmann Institute, both in Israel. Over the past few years, he has dedicated his professional life to putting into practice the findings from the field of neuroscience, through popular lectures, in order to improve wellbeing.
The app was developed to turn the “flexible brain” theory into a framework of daily practice, and is based on empirical evidence showing that cognitive and emotional digital training apps contribute to improved wellbeing.
The aim of the tasks, written by Dr. Chalamish, is to create new neural pathways through daily challenges. The tasks are varied and target the various brain functions concurrently.
